2014 Burton Moto Mens Boots Overview
Hey there. Welcome to the Morning Shred brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna. I've got Levi from Burton here and we're going to talk about the Burton Moto Boot.
So, Levi, this is the most popular boot in the world, right? Yeah, I think over ten years running now it's been one of the top five selling boots in the world every single year so a couple things that make this boot such a great boot are going to be its super lightweight, easy-to-use boot, easy to get in-and-out of but yet also super comfortable, super forgiving so one of the features that helps make this boot amazingly easy to get in-and-out of is the Dual Zone Speed Zone that we have on this thing. Great thing about this compared to other speed systems on the market is the fact that you actually get two zones of comfort so you have an upper zone and a lower zone and all you have to do to tighten this thing are pull up on these cords back towards your heel to lock it and you're in. And these can tuck away in these little garages that there are on each side here and that's it. And then to get out of them, all you have to do is pull forward to unlock it, open it up with this little tab right here and you're out. So, really quick and easy to get in-and-out of.
We also gave it the Total Comfort Construction toebox which opens up some more room right where your toe is connected to your foot so it takes away that initial cramping point and makes that boot so much more comfortable right out of the box. Sure. Also, this boot has some ribs on the back here that meet up with ribs in Burton bindings that help provide an added heel hold on there and another update for it this year is the EVA Sole making it even lighter than it was before. Nice, And it's got the Imprint 1 Liner to it, right? Yep. Imprint 1 Liner is our liner that's heat-moldable. Has some rebound it as well but yet it's going to be nice and soft and forgiving. Cool. And that liner is one of the upgrades you get from moving to the Moto from the Invader as well as the lacing system. Yep. You get EVA Sole. So, ideal for sort of that... Definitely a beginner-intermediate rider. It definitely has considerable steps up from the Invader but is still going to be a great price for any rider out there. Cool. Well, make sure to check out the Moto on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
