2014 Ride VXN Womens Binding Overview
Hey there. Welcome to the Morning Shred brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna. I've got Ryan our ladies Ride expert here and we're going to talk about the Ride VXN binding.
Ryan, who's this binding designed for? Beginner to intermediate rider. What makes it such a good binding for that intermediate girl? We'll start off the strap. We've got the Rad Ankle Strap. AstroGlyde Tool-less adjustment. Good free form fitting ankle strap here gives you a good fit and good pressure when needed. The top strap has the Thin Grip material which allows it to go over the foot or over the toe, which more people are going over the toe. The Thin Grip material allows it to stretch out, fits just about any toe box in the game.
We'll move on to the chassis. Chassis is a Foundation Chassis - aluminum chassis. Adjustable heel cup. Has the Wedgie Footbed, 2.0 version on it. Little bit of an angle gives you almost the right set up where your knees are in the right place and your ankles are in the right place. More of like leverage over your outside edges. Exactly. Exactly. The highback is the Slingback, kind of an asymmetrical, a little bit stiffer, but very, very easy for that beginner and that intermediate rider to adjust to. Great so it's fairly, it's somewhat responsive but it's going to be forgiving still for that entry-level girl who maybe athletic entry-level girl or girl who's been progressing, stepping up, been riding for a couple years or so, right? Exactly. Great. Well, make sure to check out the Ride VXN on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
