Hey there. Welcome to the Morning Shred brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna. This is Levi and we're going to talk about the Burton Moto Boot.

So, Levi this boot's been around, it's actually been the best-selling boot, for what? 13 years? Yeah, that is correct. 13 years. And so, what makes it that? A couple things. First of all, it's a great beginner- intermediate boot that allows a rider to progress with it but then also compared to, say, the Invader in the Burton line-up, it has a great convenience feature in the lacing system. We have something called Speedzone where the rider can actually get in and out of their boot super quick. The great thing with Speedzone compared to some other systems out there is its got two different zones of comfort so you pull up on 1 lace and it'll tighten the upper zone, you pull up on the other and it'll tighten the lower zone so you can really tweak and fine-tune your comfort levels with that system and its something that's super-quick and easy to use and just makes getting in and out of your boots that much quicker so...

Great, and super lightweight, real light outsole to it, right? Yep, this boot uses our DynoLite Outsole and also a brand a new feature on the insole is something we called Sleeping Bag Technology. It's part of our new movement we call Total Warmth. We've already added Total Comfort throughout the line in Burton where we're trying to make the boot feel even better right out of the box but this year we're going for Total Warmth where we're trying to make every boot that much more warm so underneath the liner in this boot there's a metal strobel, we call it, which is basically a reflective material to reflect heat back up into the foot of the rider keeping you nice and warm and comfortable all day long. And we pair that with our nice, warm Imprint 1 Liner which is meant to be soft, warm and comfortable to that beginner rider. So, it's almost like taking a little emergency blanket. That kind of material, right? Yep, and it's reflecting your heat right back to you so... And that's great because that's something that's been around 2 years? Yeah, it's definitely something we've trickled down. It started off in some high end boots and the man up top, Jake Burton, said that's too great of a feature just to keep as a lead as it was and we trickled it down all the way to the Moto this year so... big expansion of that in our line up this year.

Talk about Shrinkage a little bit too. Yeah, Shrinkage is another feature kind of similar. We started off in some higher end boots but realized it was so great we should share it with all the boots in our line, almost. So, all the way down to the Moto now we have what we call Shrinkage Technology where a size 9 boot actually has the footprint of other brands' size 8. We got rid of any bulk, extra material, and really shrunken this down, making it easier to fit into smaller bindings also just making it so you're not running the risk of dragging toes or heels as you're kind of laying down those carves so...

There you go. If you're the entry or intermediate level rider, make sure you check out the world's best-selling boot for 13 years on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
