Hey there. Welcome to the Morning Shred brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna. This here is Tim from Flow and we're going to talk about the Flow Isis Binding.

So, this is the advanced level, all the bells and whistles, women's binding, right? It is. It's the highest performance binding that we offer for women. Great. What makes it such a high performance binding? It's based on the Fuse platform so just like in the men's you have a 30% fiberglass reinforced baseplate here so kind of on the stiffer side, real quick, real responsive. Same with the heelcup, 30% fiberglass and as you can see, it's a two-piece highback so it can be adjusted up and down, in or out, with the forward lean adjustment also featured up on the highback. Forward lean, of course, is how far forward you want the highback.

This is the only women's binding in our line-up right now currently that features the Active Strap Technology. Active Strap Technology because we are at a higher end performance-wise, you have a relatively stiff strap on here, Fuse Strap, that is going to require some break-in period; to help speed that along the Active Strap makes it really, really easy to get in and out of the binding even when it's brand new, out of the box. We feature that on a lot of the men's bindings and also on this particular Isis Binding. In the baseplate, 2.5 degree bevel so that it's more power to the edge, more comfortable on your knees and super lightweight as you can see and slightly rockered on the baseplate to allow the board to flex more underfoot. With a heavy duty ratchet buckles that, once you get it broken in, you're basically going to set it, forget it or lock it in place and from then on all you'll need to do to get into your Flow bindings, just to slide your foot inside here and close it up.

Talk a little bit about the highback too because there's plenty of performance in there. Yeah, the highback has, like I was saying, a adjustability. You can move it up or down so if you're tall, you might want to bring it up if you have a longer calf, if you're on the shorter side, you can bring it down so it gives you more room, more freedom of mobility. Also, being a two-piece allows us to play with the highbacks and in the Isis we went to a urethane highback at the high end and as a result it's more forgiving so gives it an all-mountain but yet you can take it in the park freedom of flex in the binding itself. Great, so this really is the do-everything, high-performance women's binding. You can take an intermediate level rider and help them progress and they'll have everything an advanced level girl needs, right? Absolutely. It's definitely the top. Cool.

Well, make sure to check out the Isis on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
