Hi there, welcome to the Morning Shred, brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna, this is Levi from Burton and we're going to talk about the Burton Invader boot. Levi, this is an awesome boot for the guy just starting off, right? Correct, it's going to be very comfortable, it's also going to be very lightweight and forgiving. A couple features that make this an awesome boot for the price are going to be Burton's Imprint 1 heat moldable liner which just provides a ton of comfort, both out of the box as well as after time wearing it. That heat moldable section of it will really form around your foot and just get more comfortable as time goes on as well. Also, on the sole of this we've got our dynolite outsole where we shave away any extra pounds and also, talking about shaving this boot as something called Shrinkage, where we shave down the actual foot print of this boot and make it so that this size 9 right here but would have the footprint of a typical size 8 so you're able to get it into smaller bindings which also can help save on weight. It's also great for those big footed guys out there that are afraid of toe and heel drag.

A nice low-profile, comfortable, lightweight boot for the beginner to intermediate rider. And I noticed how far the laces kind of start back from the toe, that's Burton's total comfort fit, right? Yep, we call that Total Comfort construction which is a big initiative of Burton's getting this boot fitting great right out of the box and also cutting down on any cramps that the rider could get throughout the day. So with the laces starting up a little bit higher on the toe box we get rid of a pressure point that happens right where your toes meet your foot so very comfortable out of box and throughout the whole year. Great, well if you're just looking to start off then make sure you check out the Burton Invader - great boot for you start your snowboarding experience and progress with it.
