2016 Flow Juno Womens Binding Overview
Hi there, welcome to the Morning Shred, brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna, this is Tim from Flow and here we have the Flow Juno binding. Tim, this is a new binding for you guys, right? Yeah it is and we're pretty excited about it. First off, it looks really cool, but secondly this is a performance binding for the girls. You have 30% fiberglass reinforced composite baseplate as well as the highback, meaning that it's somewhat flexible but really quick edge to edge. It also features a reclining highback as you can see, easy to get in and out of, with a forward lean adjustment up on the highback - something you can do right up on the hill should you require more forward lean out of the binding itself.
This we're featuring in the one piece power strap that takes on the shape of your foot the more you wear it with ratchet buckles that, once it does break in, you can just set it and forget it. It has a little lock on there that way every single run it's the same ride, you don't have to mess with the buckles at all. Underneath here the baseplate is a 2.5 degree bevel. That kind of rockers your knees in a little bit, more forgiving on your knees and also more power to the edge - quicker edge to edge. We're very excited about this binding and I think it's going to do very well. So an ideal binding for that intermediate, maybe towards advanced, girl who still wants to get a lot of feel out of her board, wants a softer baseplate and isn't looking to step up into something aluminum or too stiff for her. Exactly.
Well make sure you check out the Flow Juno if that sounds like you and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
