2016 Flow Minx Womens Binding Overview
Hey there, welcome to the Morning Shred, brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna, this is Tim from Flow and this is the Flow Minx binding. Tim, who's this binding for? Well Jenna, it's virtually for any girl out there. The Minx is a very popular binding for us, its counterpart the Five is one of our most popular mens bindings and the reason is that, like I was saying, you could be an advanced level rider that likes a softer feel under your foot or you could be an entry level rider that wants something you can grow with. Being a Flow binding, it features the power triangle in here as well as a reclining highback. The highback comes right down, you can just slide your foot in here and then lock it up.
On the back here you have a forward lean adjustment that can be adjusted right up on the hill should you require more forward lean on icy conditions, that kind of thing. And it's available in two straps: the hybrid strap and the fusion strap. This here is the fusion strap the hybrid strap is more of a toe-cap strap or a two piece strap if you will. And that one is good for maybe the girl who's used to a traditional strap and wants something that has the same feel but the convenience of a Flow binding, right? Absolutely, you know really we wanted to offer everything to everybody. Little suspension built in here underneath the foot itself, and the lockable ratchet buckles so once this thing breaks in to your foot you can set it and forget it.
Alright, so ideal binding for entry to mid-level girl or a girl who wants just a softer flexing binding correct? Absolutely. Well if that sounds like you, make sure you check out the Minx or the Minx Hybrid on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
