2016 Ride DVA Womens Binding Overview
Hi there, welcome to the Morning Shred, brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna, this here is Ryan from Ride and we're going to talk about the Ride Dva binding today. Ryan, this is a nice binding for the ladies, right? Tell us a little bit about it. It is, it is. Dva is kind of a higher end freestyle binding for the girls or that free-ride girl, that intermediate to more advanced girl can get on this. It's got freestyle ankle strap, a lot of support a lot of cush thin grip toe strap here, which that toe strap thin grip material stretches over just about any toe box in the game. AstroGlyde ratchets, running on an aluminum chassis with an adjustable heel cup wedgie footbed system 1.5, takes out some of the uncomfortableness of riding the binding it adds pop, stability - basically gets your legs ergonomically correct - exactly, it keeps your knees over your ankles, your ankles over your feet and gives you more of a natural way riding and then adds a little bit of pop to the board.
The one thing about this binding that is really going to set it apart is the urethane highback that we call Slimeback. So it's a full urethane highback that gives you a little bit of response torsionally, so for that girl that's looking for a little bit more playful freestyle binding - the DVA is the way to go. So maybe the girl who's looking for something more aggressive would go up to the Fame but the girl who wants to play with still plenty of response in the binding but just maybe is geared more to riding more to the freestyle end of things. Freestyle marketer looking for a little bit softer ride versus the Fame which is more of that really aggressive girl.
Great, well make sure you check out the Ride DVA on snowboards.com and thanks for watching the Morning Shred.
