2016 Ride LX Binding Overview
Hi there, welcome to the Morning Shred, brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna this is Ryan from Ride and we're going to talk about the Ride LX binding. Ryan, LX has been around forever, tell us a little bit about it. Yeah, LX is a staple binding in our Ride line. It's an entry-level binding for that person coming into or off that rental or hand-me-down market.
Good binding all the way around. We got the RAD ankle strap, good cush, good support. Footbed - we got the Wedgie footbed which is 1.5° basically adds comfort and pop to your riding. We got the spectrum chassis, plastic chassis, running on a nylon disc and the FreeFlex highback. So not too much to write home to mom and dad about but great binding at the price. And at that price level, I think it's worth noting, it's got a really nice toe strap on it as well. It does, this is the secret to success with Ride. It's got the thin grip toe strap which allows it to stretch over just about any toe box in the game. So solid binding for entry-level rider looking for something soft-flexing and forgiving, correct? Exactly.
Great, well make sure you check out the Ride LX on snowboards.com and thanks for watching.
