2016 Ride Phenom Kids Binding Overview
Welcome to the Morning Shred, brought to you by snowboards.com. I'm Jenna, this is Ryan from Ride and we're going to talk about the Ride Phenom binding. Ryan, this is a great little binding for the kids, tell us a little bit about it. It is, the Phenom is a great value for that youth market. It's an aluminum foundation chassis so great strength, light, durable, the kid can also grow into it. It's got a RAD ankle strap, tool-less adjustments, thin grip toe strap which will stretch over just about any toe box in the game. FlexLite highback kind of a freestyle highback for that little grom.
So, adjustable heel cup, Wedgie footbed system 1.5 also going to run on a smaller disc kind of freeing up some of the board space or torsional flex on the board. So yeah, great binding all the way around. Talk about what Wedgie does for ya. Wedgie is angled in, kind of canting from your sort of ski sort of side of things it adds pop, it adds comfort but more importantly it's adds pop to the board. Great, it kind of is essentially like an EX, right, shrunken down? Yeah, it's basically a micro version of our adult EX binding so it's a great value for an aluminum binding for this age. Adult tech brought down to a kids size, basically. Yep, perfect way to put it.
Great, well make sure you check out the Ride Phenom on snowboards.com and thanks for watching.
