I was surprised how warm and dry they are. sitting on wet chair lift seats all day and never felt wet or cold. Skied at 10 degrees with a light base layer and i was warm, the liner works very well. The pockets are great, one has a lanyard inside with a hook for your keys, neat.
Wow, all the descriptions do not do these justice. These pants provide superb moisture and temperature control. Also are pretty warm, I wore in 17F all day no under layer. I would think twice before spending 400-500 and give those a chance for 100 -150. Perfect for those days when its about 20deg and sunny. You will not be hot in those.
