Flex and response is exactly what you'll find in the Flow Fuse Binding. Fusion PowerStrap fits nicely around your boots providing you with ankle support and energy transmission. Canted 2.5 BankBeds offers an optimized fit, support, and energy transfer while providing additional comfort. Built with a Glass-Filled Nylon Rockered Baseplate you'll have a binding that's engineered to be fun and responsive without being too stiff. They will transmit energy directly to your board while still allowing for plenty of flex.
Glass-Filled Nylon ModBack is a lightweight piece of the binding that reclines for easy entry and exit and is outfitted with EVA Pads for additional comfort. Active Strap Technology allows the strap to automatically lifts up when you open the reclining highback and actively tightens when you close the highback. Combined with the LSR or Locking Slap Ratchets allows riders to enter the Flow Fuse easily without any hassle. The Flow Fuse is going to knock your socks off with its ability to maximize the time spent on the hill.
I got the Flow Fuse based on some reviews, and overall, I'm not really wowed by them.
The first day I used them, the rear foot toe ratchet popped out of the strap, making it a pain to buckle in, and the strap curls under the buckle, which puts a ton of pressure on the pinkie toe. The step in/step out feature is a wash because my boot is too wide to slide into the baseplate (Burton Ruler - size 9.5) so I'm struggling on each run to get the back binding dialed in.
They're stiff, snug, and responsive when all set, which is their saving grace. Because I bought them for the comfort and ease of entry, which is non-existent for me.
Maybe if I get new boots next year I'll like them better... time will tell.
