 Overview

The new Hotronic Footwarmer S4 Custom set is more powerful and longer lasting than ever before. Included in the S4 Custom set are two Battery Packs, one Recharger, two Heating Elements, two Caberelle Covers that are one sizes fits all, that work with any type of footbed, custom, pre-molded or stock. S4 utilizes a NiMH AA battery that has a high capacity cold temperature operation. These NiMH battery cells do not have a memory effect that has plagued boot heating systems for years, and does not need to be fully drained before being recharged. Q: Does this replace my other footbed or go on top of it? How does the volume of this footbed compare to Superfeet green?
Asked : May 05, 2015
By : Elliott, Martinez
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The cover is no thicker than a sheet of paper and has adhesive on the back. Once you cut a hole through your Superfeet footbed, feed the heating element wire through that hole and stick the heating element just behind the base of your toes. Then you can peel off the back of the cover and stick that to the footbed. You will not notice any volume change with the addition of the heating element, just warm toes!

Q: Where do the batteries go? Where are the wires routed?
Asked : Jan 12, 2015
By : Foster, Sawyers Bar, CA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: There are many options as to where to put the batteries but most commonly they are clipped to the side of the boot (clips sold separately) and the wires are routed down the backside of the liner, and a small slit will need to be made in the back of the liner to feed the wire through to the inside of the boot.
