The Rome Katana has been loaded up on innovative ideas for customizing your interface to match your unique way of snowboarding. V-Rod Ultralight Baseplate which is a rocker baseplate design that lets the board flex while delivering toe-to-heel power and side-to-side freedom. Paired up with the Minimalist Disc the Katana baseplate only has 1.56% of the baseplate making contact with the board, industry first. AsymWrap Heel Loop features a full Underwrap on the medial side and a shorter Underwrap on the lateral side.
Katana Asym Highback is stiffer on the lateral side and soft on the medial side to provide the perfect combination of power transmission and tweakability. The Cant-In-The-Back II feature allows for narrow stances to run 0 to 3 degrees and for wider stances go up to 6 degrees. D30 powered V-Rod SubBase Pad decreases vibration and improves cushioning for a smoother, more comfortable ride.
ContourLight Ankle Strap allows riders to customize their ankle strap support by changing the tension. The tighter you make it, the more the two-parts interface to increase strap stiffness. ConformLight Toe Strap uses a two-part design to create a better fit while conforming to the toe of any boot. PivotMount Strap Technology gives the Katana 5 symmetrical positions and 20 additional positions for unmatched control over strap placement and strap support.
