 Overview

In the world of pure park riding, the Rossignol Retox AmpTek sets the bar. Set-your-spin and stomp the biggest hits on this true-twin freestyle board. By utilizing AmpTek Freestyle, this technology gives you 60% camber under the foot for stability and edge grip at higher speeds, while 20% rocker in the tip and tail add for maneuverability and a little bit of float. The Twin Freestyle Flex has a more consistent feel with a stiffness under the foot to maximize pop and balance. Its stiffer, ultra blunt tip and tail ensures you have lots of pop as well as a smooth swing weight. Don't let the graphic fool you, the Retox AmpTek is no sloth.

😍😍😍 Love this thing.
Comments:
Good ride right out the box. Great flexibility to the board. Carving the backsides is way easier on this board. I love it.

2016 Rossignol Retox AmpTek Snowboard Review by Ian P.
Comments:
Hey, this is Ian. I just got off the Rosi Retox This is a fun ride. Probably 4 out of 5 stars. It's got Race Sidewalls so it's super fun playing on the flatlands and when not moving you don't catch an edge very easily. Nice and soft, super playable. Not totally my style. I like something that carves a little bit more, can handle the speed. This is definitely like a calm play board for sure so 4 out of 5 stars for this one.

2016 Rossignol Retox AmpTek Snowboard Review by Ian R.
Comments:
Hey, this is Ian. Just got done riding the Rosi Retox in a 150. I give this board 4 out of 5 stars. This is geared to your intermediate freestyle rider. Nice and soft and playful. Very buttery. Not as stable at higher base speeds. Has a little bit rocker in the tip and tail and a nice camber blend throughout the feet. And, don't let the sloth fool you, this board is super fun and not slow.

2016 Rossignol Retox AmpTek Snowboard Review by Rob
Comments:
Hey, I'm Rob. Just got done riding the Rosi Retox. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Not really my type of board. It's really, really soft. Really, really playful so it's fun but I prefer something that's a little faster, a little more stable underfoot at higher speeds so this is kind of that true park board, jib board. It's chopped off. Really low swing weight so I rode it short. Still has the same sidecut that you're looking for in a longer board. But super, super maneuverable. So, either someone that's a little newer to the sport or a true park guy can really throw it around at lower speeds and really maneuver it really easily. So, a fun board for a park guy or someone that's maybe getting into their first board and needs something a little softer and a little more forgiving.

2016 Rossignol Retox AmpTek Snowboard Review by Trevor
Comments:
Hi, I'm Trevor. I just got off the Rosi Retox. I'd give this board a 5 out of 5 stars. Awesome, awesome park board. Nice, mid-level flex to it so it gives you just enough pop coming in and out of jumps but still soft enough to play around on the rails. Just super, super easy to use. Fun turn initiation on this guy. It's got a blunted nose there so it really reduces swing weight so you can actually ride it in a little bit of a shorter size than you'd want to, or than you'd normally. But yeah, absolutely fantastic board. This is exactly what I want in a freestyle board right here. 5 out of 5.
