The Smith I/O is one of the best-selling goggles in snow sports. The Spherical Carbonic-X Lens with TLT Technology still offers you undistorted peripheral vision, and crystal clear optics, but now a wider field of view for total clarity on the mountain. Smith's Quick Release Lens Change uses two levers on the top frame of the goggle to lock the lens into place. The 5X Anti-Fog Inner Lens keeps you fog-free as you charge down any type of terrain, in any light condition. The Patented Porex Filter regulates the pressure between each lens to eliminate any distortion that can be caused by big elevation changes when you vacation in the mountains. The I/O has a Responsive Fit Frame that easily conforms to nearly any face shape for extra comfort in a perfect fit. Three Layers of DriWix Face Foam pull sweat and moisture off of your face when you are really getting after it, but also gives you insulation when it gets really cold out. Articulating Outriggers beef up the connection of the strap to the frame, and allow you to wear any shaped helmet when you ride. If you want simplicity when it is time to swap your lenses out and premium optics, find out for yourself why the Smith I/O is the number one goggle in skiing.
goggles did their job and look great....unfortunately I did not get a chance to use the overcast lens and weather was dry and cool. I would like to have had some COLD days with some fresh powder but no luck. Goggles were comfortable and not more messing with my sunglasses trying to keep them dry in and out... Note. tried the I/O X which did not feel much bigger on my face but they appeared to be much larger when viewed by others. The Chromopop was not as significant as I was expecting, but views are still great...as good as my Maui Jims.
