With sub zero temps and great snow conditions these were needed to keep everyone's feet warm and toasty. We also use them to keep our cell phones warm in out pockets while out on cold days to prevent them from freezing up.

We've tried these on a few occasions. I wouldn't say they are as good as the hand warmers but they got the job done. A pair of heated socks would probably work better but who needs the hassle of having yet another thing to charge.

Toe Warmers will generate some heat but it does not last very long. Not really practical to have to continually expose them to air to get them to heat up again. Tried placing them on top of and under toes.
