The K2 Fastplant is a perfect board for hard chargers that are looking for the ultimate in poppy freestyle boards out there today. The Bambooyah WH 4 Core is incredibly strong, so strong that K2 backs the core with a 5 year warranty. The Bamboo has an ultra light feel to it, but packs a mean punch, and is very flexible. An addition of a Carbon Web to the Fastplant delivers power right to the edge without adding any extra weight. The Ollie Bar is made pre-loaded with a carbon, Kevlar, and glass layer in the center of the board between the binding inserts to give you more power with every Ollie on to rails, boxes or anything else you can find to bonk off of. If you want the ultimate in progressive freestyle riding plant yourself on the K2 Fastplant.

A: Hi, While this board holds an edge surprisingly well at speed, I think there are boards out there that would better suit your needs if hard charging is your main goal. To start, I'd probably look for something slightly directional or set back. I'd also look at something with some element of camber whether its a true cambered board or a hybrid board that utilizes both camber and rocker. If I were you I'd take a look at some of these http://www.snowboards.com/snowboards/100,default,sc.html?prefn1=Inv_DeptCode
