Designed to give you all the space you need for a day on the slopes The North Face Snomad 34 Backpack is the way to go. Crafted from durable polyester, this pack can handle the harsh winter weather. There's a simple, but stable ski and snowboard carrying system that won't weigh you down while you're trekking up the hills. A slim profile makes this pack lightweight and allows for freedom of movement while padded straps provide extra cushioning and comfort. With a 34 liter capacity, you'll have room for extra baselayers, maps and snacks. A padded, tricot lined goggle/electronics pocket is easy to access on the fly. There's even a quick stow on the shoulder strap for a hat or gloves. A Whistleloc buckle on the sternum strap and Avy tool organizational sleeves hold emergency gear should you need them. The North Face Snomad 34 lets you carry your gear in comfort so you can spend more time enjoying your adventure.

A: Both packs are the same size, 34 liter, but the size refers to the torso size. The S/M size is going to be best for a torso length of 16"-19" and the L/XL is going to best for a torso length of 18"-21"

Q: Is the back padding curve formed? And what is the steel frame?

A: The back padding is not really formed but will conform to the user's adjustments once set. The steel frame is found within the pack and gives the pack additional support allowing for more comfortable travel while wearing the pack.
