Next to the outer shell fabric is a layer of Woolrich proprietary Wool Loft Insulation and when combined with the other materials provides an unbelievable level of warmth. This jacket is also waterproof and breathable with 5k/5k rating in both meaning you stay dry and comfortable on top of the warmth.
