Kush Control Technology
The ALL NEW Flow Kush Control Technology consists of 3 unique Urethane features, which are strategically placed in the base, the sidewall and the top sheet to create the smoothest and strongest snowboards available on the hill. Urethane is flexible and highly resistant to impacts in extremely cold temperatures. Urethane is also utilized due to its superior bonding properties and can withstand the abuse that a snowboard endures. Flow has engineered their boards to exploit the excellent dampening properties of Urethane, so they can provide you the smoothest ride possible.
Camber vs. Rocker
Camber or Rocker? A complex story made easy to understand. When you lay a board down on its base, Camber boards are bent in a way that the center of the board lifts off the ground and rocker boards are bent in a way that the tip and tail of the board are lifted off the ground. Camber boards are typically more responsive and lively. You have to put a bit more energy in it, but more energy comes back out of the board when making a turn, ollieing or jumping. Rocker boards are typically easier to ride and more playful and forgiving. The board is already bent the way it would when you are turning, meaning less work for you and less chances of catching and edge. Flow Rocker boards are all Hybrids; rocker between your feet and slight camber back to the tip and tail for more control but still forgiving and playful.
The Most Comfortable Fit Right Out Of The Box
One of the critical keys to comfort is fit and feel, which is why Flow has designed and perfected their proprietary and anatomically shaped inner and outer lasts. This gives Flow boots their award winning universal fit. The Support in Flow boots is achieved by the 3D-Molded tongues and the various Closure Systems like their tight collaboration with Boa, their unique HeelLock systems and their RipperLacing Liners.
Liners, the Beauty is on the Inside
The liner is the part of the boot that is in direct contact with your foot, so we use only the very best foams and insoles to give you superior fit and support. Keeping your foot and ankle pulled back and locked in position is another important aspect to make riding more efficient and enjoyable. Flows liners and internal closure systems are equipped with tons of features like Ripper Lacing, internal and external J-Bars and Velcro top straps, to do just that.
Dual Entry Versatility
The universal interface and unrivaled versatility of our reclining hiback and full- sized LSR ratchets allow the ease of use and fexibility. The unique shape of our PowerStraps avoids the need for over-tightening the bindings. Designed for maximized energy transfer between boots and board, our PowerTriangle and PowerStrap allow for more precise board control with effortless response.
Locked and Loaded
A true “Set It and Forget It” feature to make your life easier. Precisely fit your PowerStrap to your boot and micro-adjust on the fly if needed. Simply lock down to secure your preferred PowerStrap tightness. And Flows full-sized locking slap ratchets allow you to also use your Flow bindings for conventional 2-strap Side Entry making Flow bindings the most versatile for getting in and out in any situation.
