DC Shoes was founded by Ken Block and Damon Way in 1993 in Vista, California. DC originally stood for Droors Clothing which was later bought and is now defunct. DC is now simply DC Shoes. DC Shoes specializes in footwear for sports like skateboarding and snowboarding as well as clothing and snowboards. In 2004, DC was acquired by surf giant, Quicksilver and moved its headquarters from Vista, California to Huntington Beach in 2010.

Fast forward to the present, DC currently sponsors some monsters in snowboarding.  Travis Rice, Torstein Horgmo, Devun Walsh, Iikka Backstrom, and more are all a part of the DC snow team. DC’s snowboard boots are popular amongst snowboarders because of their comfort and quality. After all, DC has been making great skate shoes for almost two decades. DC makes both mens and womens snowboard boots and have models that feature BOA technology. The combination of DC’s boots and BOA make for happy feet.

DC snowboard boots use technologies like the Aerotech Ventilation System to keep them ahead of the pack.  Areotech uses molded vents in the shell and liner of the boot that work together to allow moisture to move through the boot and away from your foot to keep you warm and dry.  Recently they introduced Impact G and Uni-Lite, lightweight soles with great traction and shock-absorption that won’t change with the temperature.

DC snowboard boots are constantly changing and improving so check out our selection of DC snowboard boots and see what’s new today.
